Bamburgh is not far from the historic towns of Alnwick (15miles) and Berwick upon Tweed (20 Miles), the former with the famous Alnwick Castle and Gardens, the latter with its well preserved fortifications. Other attractions within easy reach are boat trips to Farne Islands, Holy Island via a drive over the causeway, and walking in the scenic Cheviot Hills.
